I plan to keep my lawn more manageable this year but I couldn't leave the bees and butterflies with nothing. This is my solution, patches of "wild garden" made where the local flowers were in bloom. I like them and so do the birds, rabbits, and even Mixie.
I get why "it was better in the books" is a turn off, but I want you to understand that I had a realized version of him that was a 180 to what we got in the "canon". It wasn't better in my imagination, I saw him on screen, I teamed up with him to solve a bad student issue. So I know it's possible.

Someone took me up on this conversation but then blocked me so I'll put the last thing I was going to say here.
I'm disappointed in Luke Skywalker. That I am makes me sad and it's weird that lovers of the movie can't empathize with me a little.
He could have been trapped on the island instead of hiding. Meeting Rey could have been a way to get back into the fight, but he's convinced to take time to train her first. It would have been such a small change, even the mistake with Ben could have stayed.
