You probably want to follow @voltagex

I know things are tough for most people, so don't worry if you can't chip in right now.

A good friend of mine could use your support.

@SilverEagle has been developing free and open source software for a heck of a long time. If you've ever used Internet Radio before, there's a damn good chance you've used AzuraCast.

They have a Ko-Fi goal of $2500. If any of you can chip in even $3 to help them, it is difficult to overstate the immense burden you'll be alleviating.

I've tossed in $100 to get this started. Can we get them to their goal?

Technical problems are fixable. The underlying people level issues that led to the technical problems, however, may not be, which leads to perpetuating the technical problems much longer than might be reasonable.
yeah nah

What to do about #phishing emails that seem to be end-to-end hosted on #Azure?

e.g. emails from ipixystem onmicrosoft com with an image hosted on blob storage.

It's a TEXT FILE. What the fuck, Microsoft?!

Anyone got a good alternative to #WindowsDefender?

It just detected a file from a *Microsoft GitHub repo* as malicious, when it isn't.

I am really sick of it. (see also, detecting many NirSoft utilities)

I don't know how you #ThreatHunting and #ThreatIntel people do it. Probably helps when you're getting paid.

No one's going to take half these phishing sites down, the registrars don't care, the hosts don't care, #LetsEncrypt has elected to not care (although I sympathise - they'd consume all of their resources fighting this shit)
