Behold Io!

Hey everyone!

Juno is flying by Io this weekend and I made a video previewing what the spacecraft will be doing on Saturday and what it has observed at Io in recent encounters. It is an hour long so sit back and enjoy!

Today I learned that I'm terrible at rock paper scissors.

This weekend, Juno will fly past Io at a distance of 11,700 km. This is the latest in a series of flybys that started last April that have brought the NASA spacecraft closer to Io. Only 10 more weeks before the first close flyby on December 30. Here is my preview of this weekend's encounter.
