I just finished reading the first Sherlock Holmes story (A Study in Scarlet) and it's pretty good.
I think a decent amount of adaptations change the motivation behind the murder (probably because it kinda hinges on 1800's-ness existing), but you could just change the details and it'd work fine. The historical setting isn't super important to the guy's motivation lol. I'd say maybe 85% or so? So it could be changed or removed and still serve the story well enough.
lol the comics referenced Star Trek Next Generation (and Q is technically there too since Discord's VA plays him). With the main show referencing the original series, they've only got a few left.
Damn, we finished Friendship is Magic an hour or so ago :'c
Time to finish the comics. I read up to the start of the season 10 arc in preparation for this lol.
