You’re not crazy, & you were never crazy this whole time. Don’t listen to anyone who continues to gaslight you about your symptoms & situation. Please know too that there are people in this world who will believe you & work to help you get a diagnosis & the right treatment for your condition. Sending lots of love & comfort your way 🫂❤️‍🩹🎗️
If you’re a woman or girl & you have (or you find out you may have) endometriosis (and/or adenomyosis) based on the symptoms you’re experienced throughout your life, please make sure to go get it checked with the right doctor who will listen to you (endometriosis excision expert or endometriosis specialist preferably for example). Also, please advocate for yourself continuously, & don’t give up.
They’re telling the truth, & they’re not crazy. Do what you can to educate yourself on these two conditions for more awareness. Please make sure to also do what you can to help them out on their health journey to getting a diagnosis & the right treatment for their health & lives.

This will also help work on giving more women & girls the right treatment for the condition before they need to get a labroscopy if needed (endo-mapping for example).

If you know someone who has endometriosis and/or adenomyosis (or symptoms of both conditions to where they need to get a diagnosis & more answers on their symptoms), please believe them, listen to them, & please don’t gaslight them.

More researchers globally are also working on doing more research on endometriosis (& adenomyosis in addition) & spreading more awareness about both conditions as a result. They’re also working on more ways women & girls can get properly & formally diagnosed without an invasive surgery (menstrual blood test, saliva test, etc. for example), which would drastically shorten the amount of time it has taken to get a diagnosis in the past.

However, a hysterectomy cannot & won’t cure endometriosis. Even without the uterus, the endometrial tissue can still grow in other parts all over the body (again, including the eyes & brain). There is no definite “cure” for endometriosis, & this condition can last for the rest of a woman’s or girl’s life.

However, the good news is that there is more awareness about both conditions in comparison to past decades.
