Just finished a good ol' #refactoring session. It's like a breath of fresh air! #coding #developerlife 😎💻🍃
I love how #Calico in #eBPF mode with #MetalLB preserves the source IP regardless of the externalTrafficPolicy setting. I am using MetalLB in L2 mode with the external IPs of the nodes. I tried #Cilium L2 announcements but it seems it can't use the node IPs. #kubernetes
#hetznerk3s v1.1.5 is out 🎉 with more customisation options for cluster/service CIDRs, cluster DNS, updated manifests for CSI/CCM/autoscaler, and a couple of improvement for creating large clusters. Check it out at https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s #kubernetes #hetzner #k3s #devops

For me, starting a business from scratch on something I truly enjoy doing, is kinda like writing my own story. Time to make it a bestseller! 🚀 #business #buildinpublic
@jgillich I guess that could work. What do you write controllers in? Go?
@jgillich As long as you have enough replicas it should be fine?
@jgillich I haven't checked the details, but the descheduler is configurable so maybe you can do something like that. To be honest I didn't have time to check it in detail so I just installed it with the defaults and it's helping a lot already. After one day we are running fewer nodes in both clusters.
