Über mich gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Ich mag IT und Smart Home.
@ironicbadger They need to put a clear border between things they are responsible for and things they are not. It seems too much people blaming #homeassistant for failures and issues which are caused by Apps. I understand your point. I'm with you with the new position of "developer tools". Makes sense from HA side, but my musklememory scrolls always down in the menu. But I've heared there is a shortcut for it...
@netzwerkgoettin nur so ein Gedanke.... Macht es nicht Sinn, die Daten nicht an die VM zu hängen sondern die VM via Netzwerk darauf zugreifen zu lassen? Backup und restore dürften dann deutlich einfacher sein.
Smarthome ist aber auch: Nachts um 1 gibt ein Rauchmelder Alarm. Nur einer. Einmal. Und man sitzt dann eine Stunde im kalten Wohnzimmer und recherchiert was das denn nun wohl war. Gehe jetzt wieder ins Bett. Hab immer noch keine Ahnung was es war, hab aber ein Dashboard aktualisiert und eine Automation repariert. #homeassistant

Quickfix: go to "File editor", open automations.yaml STRG+F "color_temp:" click on + enter at replace "color_temp_kelvin:". Now click on "replace" at each hit. If you are brave or fearless, click on "all". It worked for me. Don't blame me if it's not working for you.
The current yaml language upgrade of #homeassistant changed from color_temp to color_temp_kelvin. Why doesn't Spook bring them all up for repair? Currently the automation dies.
