This is such a great #photo! The unnamed #photographer had a couple of options when #Epstein's victims were asked to raise their hands if they were still awaiting to meet with the #DOJ. With #PamBondi in the foreground, they could totally have used a different #focal length to get everyone into #focus. But they deliberately choose to focus on the victims, leaving #Bondi blurred out. This is the beauty and genius of #photography, how one technical decision changes everything.

One more from Nobel Week Lights! By my first gaze, I wasn't too impressed by Victoria Verseau's Limina, but the second and third ones, and moving around the artwork changed all that. The traditional Lux Helsinki Light Art Festival opened today in an icy wind and some snowfall as every year. Surprisingly enough so many people had gathered to watch the lightart. The pictures are from the Old Church Park and the work is called Mycelium Network by Steve Thompson/ Custom Fibre.

Considering how cautious and bashful light festivals usually are, Alexander Salvesen's The Last Dance at Lux Helsinki was surprisingly and utterly political. Which is obviously great. The doom-naivistic projections presented us with the modern horses of apocalypse, from war to indifference, in very explicit, unsymbolic way.
