While I think the judge did an admirable job in this case, I fear this approach does not scale. Here too is Brandolini's law at work:
"The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it."
This is especially true with mass-produced, AI-generated hallucinations.
