Fellow human beings are bravely flying out into the cold darkness of space today.

With this mission, NASA is laying the groundwork for so much more exploration over the next few years. I’ll be watching, hoping, dreaming with them at launch time, and I’m so glad to be alive to see the next chapter in space being written.

🆕 🏰 🇬🇧 New location feature: The Knight’s Hotel, Wales.

An abandoned Victorian Gothic Revival ruin atop a hill in North Wales.

Around 15 years ago, a major fire tore through the building. The flames destroyed the original Victorian section. A 1970s extension, and the far end remained relatively untouched by the fire.
