Yesterday on the BBC, there was discussion on America putting boots on the ground in Iran. Here’s the problem with that: America is as hated in the Middle East as Isreal - especially by Iranians who support the slow crumbling administration there. There is no need to put American boots on the ground there: the Iranian government will collapse in due time. Just be there for the people of Iran once the government collapses. They will sort themselves out.
