If only Apple would address these shortcomings…

I can’t believe they are ignorant of the issues.

I think it’s more about their typical Apple mentality that their way is better and everyone else is doing it wrong.

The MacBook Neo is an excellent product that could encourage people to switch away from their shitty Wintel and Chromebook machines, but there’s definitely still a lot of friction for Mac users that need to fit into a predominantly PC world.

Apple’s pricing for MacBook Neo in Australia is $100-$110 over the exchange rate. I guess some of that is import taxes and GST.

Gotta love the blind trust (or blissful ignorance?) of those willing to use cloud-based AI agents to reorganise their local files. Yes these agents can traverse all your files and rename them based on their contents and organise them into folders etc, but to do so, the contents of all those files must be sent to a cloud server for AI analysis. After which you have no idea how that data may be retained on those servers (logs etc) regardless of whatever their privacy policy says. 🫨

Anyone know if appending rich text from Shorcuts to an Apple Note is broken? I’ve tried formatting html text and markdown text to rich text but the headings are not preserved in the note. It seems to only bold the text instead. 🤷‍♂️ @stephenrobles @matthewcassinelli
