Account addresses on Mastodon and the Fediverse always have two parts, the username and the server. Both these parts have to be correct for it to reach the right account.
This is similar to email addresses: you can't just put the first part, you need to include the server at the end too.

David Chen (AKA davechensky)1899 has been canceled by Netflix. I didn’t love the show but here are some facts:
-the show was watched and enjoyed by millions of people, frequently hitting Netflix’s “most watched” charts
-the first season ends in one of the most unsatisfying ways imaginable
-this is another blow to Netflix’s credibility when it comes to launching new shows. Why dedicate time to a Netflix first season when there’s a huge chance it’ll get canceled?
Many great people remain unknown to most of humanity. Stay humble.
