Leela Multipass

So a bank i use decided to change their mobile app login and transaction verification process from:

1) type in account id + password
2) authenticate login with a separate app with a different pin
3) verify payments with the password from step 1.

To:

1) type in a 6 digit pin to log in.
2) verify payments with the same pin.

I’m not a security expert but to me this sounds, for lack of better words, absolutely and utterly fucking idiotic.

(There is an option to use biometrics for extra security but giving out fingerprints and/or facial recognition data, even to a device that claims to only ever store it locally, does not sound like a smart idea in 2025)

Unholy franchise cross-over: The ManDeLorean

(I am still waiting for a Back to the Future reboot where they go back in time all the way to the year 1995 and experience the quaint and quirky culture of that bygone era…)

Atomfall was a surprisingly nice game, albeit in parts a bit clunky. I Really enjoyed the writing, the visuals, the general vibe, the nonlinear story progression and the clue-based quest system, but especially the stealth mechanics and inventory management/crafting systems could have been a lot better.

The story itself was interesting enough, and hunting for the various clues felt surprisingly rewarding as the game’s central mystery slowly revealed itself.

All in all a much better game than what many reviewers have been saying, but then again i’m a sucker for atompunk so i might be biased.
