Our thoughts and hearts are heavy given what occurred yesterday on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, our home base as well.

Thanks to all who have offered well wishes and support.

It’s the last day to vote for OCONALUFTEE and THE LUMBEE INDIANS for the 2024 NC Humanities statewide bookclub!

North Carolina Humanities 2024 North Carolina Reads Potential Books Feedback Survey

We want to hear your feedback about our potential 2024 North Carolina Reads books! North Carolina Humanities will use your feedback to see what books interest you most and help us select our 2024 North Carolina Reads titles from the list in this survey. North Carolina Reads is North Carolina Humanities’ statewide book club that annually features five books for adult readers (18+) that explore issues of racial, social, and gender equity and the history and culture of North Carolina. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Please submit responses no later than July 7, 2023. Please submit only ONE response per person. To learn more about North Carolina Reads and how we selected these books, please visit nchumanities.org. Once we have collected your feedback, our selection group will meet to review the potential titles and later, select the final five books. Books and programs for North Carolina Reads 2024 will be announced later this year.
