Important clarification per Emily Bitzarakis (an accountant friend): Great ways to make use of unused funds. However, this applies to FSA funds, not HSA funds. And do also keep in mind some plans have either a carryover amount (up to a few hundred dollars) or a grace period, at the discretion of the plan’s sponsor, so check your documents to learn the details.

A useful reminder I got from my friend Jordan Henley: If you haven’t spent all of your hsa monies be sure to handle that today! And if you don’t know what to get period products are covered and there are many period equity groups that could use donations! Teachers often could use those donations as well!
