Apparently today is the 30th anniversary of Mary Robinson signing into #Irish Law the bill which decriminalised homosexuality in Ireland.
Which means every Irish person over 30 has lived in a country where being #gay or #bi was illegal.
We really owe a debt to all the people who fought hard for LGBT rights in 70's, 80's and 90's (presumably before but not aware of any orgs or individuals who may have been able to fight against Catholic hegemony & oppression)
