Having been here since 2016, I can tell you there is definitely no such thing as a consensus on usage of content warnings on the fediverse. It's a decentralized network that doesn't belong to any one party, so by definition there is no single culture on it. Different corners have different expectations and customs.

One weird thing, maybe a bug, with mastodon, is searching a tag, very commonly, i decide to type a generic word, like "#art" in the search, and the result window contains result *starting* with that word, but not the word itself, and that are much less commonly used. So if i really want to see that result, i need to directly edit the url, and then i get the result. Sure, i *can* do that, it's not hard, but discoverability is not great, and it's getting less common for browsers to even show urls.

So, DeviantArt opted in, by default, all existing art on the website for use by third-party AI.

Without notifying their users. For all existing art.

You have to go through your art pieces one by one and tick a box that you do NOT consent to this.

I learnt about it on Birdsite, by accident.

And of course, any inactive user or dead user will have their art used by AI models from now on, even though they never agreed to this.

Disgusting.

on pourrait imaginer un système par challenge, ou l'instance n'aurait pas besoin de connaître le mot de passe, mais seulement un moyen de vérifier que l'utilisateur le connaît, mais bon, coté utilisabilité, on risque d'être bien mais pas top.

@Lapineige @Eriatolc @pasqualeberesti oui, mais si ça se trouve, ça a été corrigé en version rc2, j'ai vu que d'autres instances l'avaient déployées. J'ajoute cette photo, j'ai bien le bouton "modifier" , je vais tenter l'edit de après.

@ploum KCcolorChooser peut suffire d'autant que ça montre deux encodage, (RGB et HSV), et on peut manipuler les valeurs soit en bougeant les curseurs, ou en tapant des chiffres, qu'on voit aussi bien en notation décimale séparé, qu'en hexadicimale. Après, pour le mélange des lumières qui fait des coulers composés, soit une expérience physique avec des lamps et filtres, soit mettre une loupe devant un écran :).
