My way to Klagenfurt is just 20 km and I've got plenty of hours left.
So I rolled very slow along, enjoying the view, ther Sounds of Nature, the calm. Later after a short climb I've had a so super nice view over the valley I've cycled before. 🫠
Klagenfurt itself is a small city with a funky smell of cheap banana flavour. 😅🤔
(What that about, Klagenfurt?! 😂)
Pushed my bike into the train and suffered the horrors of oversized E-Bikes...

The whole night the sound of raindrops helped me to sleep well.
When I woke up everything was covered in clouds but when I drank my tea the sun pushed the clouds away.
I've felt surpriseingly good, the cramps are still there but not that intense, but it felt still right to quit.
The sun and the light breeze dried out my tent very well. 🙏
Than saied farwell to my new donkey Friends 🥲👋

The next day, the high temperatur was gone, but the cramps stayed the whole day.
I've felt very weak and stayed another day at this lovely Campside. 🌳
Observing a falcon's nest at a tree, visited some cute donkeys and slept a lot.
But finally I had to admit: I should quit here.
I was to weak for the last two sections to Maribor. 😔
So, I've booked a train from the next city, Klagenfurt.
Still sad, but it was the right decision. 🥲

At night, I've woken up with bad stomach pain, like cramps coming and going.
I've felt weak and the next morning I've lived at the toilet (luckyly a nice one 😅), than I've got high temperatur...
Crap... 😔
So I took a day off.

I'd never wanted this kind of bikepacking experience 😅

The route was much up and down through little villages again. A little bit detour along fields and forests and ended again along the river Drau.
On the last part I've seen the biggest "Forellen Puff"* ever and get swarmed by thousand of little flies. 🪰🫣
The campground was so wonderfull and a rest was so needed. So I had a good afternoon and met another cyclist from Switzerland.

* I don't know how to translate it properly, trout farm isn't the same 😅

After a not so good night, I've left the Campside realy - wasn't that nice. 🫣
I've had a quick chat with other two bikepackers. One with E-Bike, the other ultralight. 😅
I've cycled some hour along the river and had another breakfast.
Sitting at a comfortable bench I've felt very tired and empty...
But weather and landscapes still wonderfull! 🫠

I cycled to Spittal an der Drau. Through forests, fields and adorable small villages.
At Spittal I found out, that the campgrounds are closed or had a broken WC/Shower and no water. So I had ro cycle 40 km more to Villach. 🥵
Fueld by the one and only Tirola Kola. (Maybe I should ask for sponsoring my Trips, hm? 😋)
So I arrived at Villach complete exhausted...
