Someone sent me a website presenting some kind of solarpunk project, but all the website images were AI.
When I called them out, this is all they had to say:
"The use of AI-generated art will cease as soon as: an artist volunteers to create the necessary artwork for the project"
What, so it's our fault that you have no taste and no moral compass? There are hundreds of sources for CC-0 licensed photos to collage from instead.

Pacific Northwest residents are bracing for another round of heavy rain after a powerful storm clobbered the region the day before. The first in what is expected to be a series of damaging storms this week caused power outages, flooding and school closures in parts of Oregon and Washington on Tuesday. Drivers had to navigate debris slides and water that closed roads and submerged vehicles. Fire officials northeast of Seattle say crews used inflatable kayaks to rescue several people trapped by rising water. And forecasters warn the worst is still to come, with some major rivers expected to crest later in the week.
