#AI_Apophenia / image filtering to save the world! Probably a nipple hidden in there somewhere!?

In other news, welcome back Marius, at least temporarily... πŸ˜‚

I was locked out of Twitter for 12 hours yesterday for "sharing privately produced/distributed intimate media". Said media? A video of NShards - weirdly colored spiky objects.

Now that the time lock has expired and the world saved from the degeneracy of abstraction, I'm back!

(*) That's not to say the above is all there is happening in this piece, there IS more! But these additional aspects are merely used to shape & refine a certain aesthetic & temporal behavior - i.e. these factors are creating variations on the overall theme (the core process)...
Personally, I'd maybe have chosen http://art.thi.ng/defrag, since it illustrates more clearly the generative potential & complexity of even an ultra-simple process: 1) Pick random point, 2) Create random pattern, 3) Greedily fill/cover as many neighboring pixels as poss, 4) Repeat https://t.co/5KENH7TgsT

What's your go-to piece/collection to introduce someone new to generative art?

I tend to go for the infinitely animating pieces like @[email protected]'s De/FragV3

Part 1 of 30 just dropped(*) - each day in #thingvember I will highlight interesting concepts, examples & projects related to my long term project & labor of love: @[email protected]...

(*)Almost messed up by wrongly scheduling the tweet for next month, doh!

RT @[email protected]

#thingvember 1/ Since this month offers 30 different opportunities to highlight interesting parts/aspects of this project, there won't be any particular order to it!

To begin, let's briefly talk about one of the main work horses: http://thi.ng/transducers & how to use them... πŸš€

I guess this stuff is too dry & "low-level" for most of my followers, but such is the initial nature/work of building new foundations and integrating new tech...

Major update/expansion of the http://thi.ng/wasm-api-dom README, as well as a new keep-it-simple #ziglang/#WebAssembly based DOM component example (also mentioned in the readme):

Hope that helps!
