Great victory last week! The European Court of Human Rights upheld that End-To-End Encryption (#E2EE) is a vital safeguard for online #privacy.
The Court agreed that states can’t require companies to introduce backdoors to E2EE communications, as these measures “would affect everyone indiscriminately, including individuals who pose no threat to a legitimate government interest.”
