Labour got too many votes.

If anything, this is a vote of confidence in Starmers policies, and running of the party.

This is not a good thing.

RT @ChrisCorney1
You cannot #GTTO tomorrow. Sunak will still be PM.

But you can use your vote to tell Labour you don't like its leader or its direction of travel.

Make your feelings clear.

Vote #TUSC
Or other socialist parties, or failing that, Greens.

The one way of getting Starmer out of office, is by NOT voting labour tomorrow.

If the labour vote collapses, then a leadership challenge would surely be the result.

Of course, this will not happen.

Gov wants investors money tied up in Gov Bonds, not as cash (central bank reserves).

If losses on QE holdings result in more cash in the economy, it will sell more bonds to soak it up.

This is all this is.

This is why LABOUR, lib-dem, green, or whoever... can NOT do ANYTHING about the NHS, etc.

Because of a choice the Tories Made.

Out only hope is to privitise the NHS. Because there is No Alternative, eh? @AaronBastani ?

This is what the Tories decided NOT to do with North Sea Oil.

Long term view will be that Margaret Thatcher was a catastrophe for the U.K. economy.

Looks like my Twitter account is dying ! Refreshing the page logs me out ….. who knows if it will be fixed , but if not….. this might be my last tweet here . So long , thanks for all the fish !

The thing is, this is capitalist also.

Indeed a capitalist government will go out of its way to ensure capitalism hurts the poor, while providing huge profits to the rich.

In both systems, and indeed USSR communism, it is endemic corruption, that leads to this.

People consume whatever they produce.

If we are worse off, its because we are producing less.

which means there are less people doing productive work, more people doing non jobs or living the highlife being a millionaire.

Ask who has caused this.

@MrShigemitsu The bond markets didn’t sell off because Kwarteng was failing to impose an arbitrary fiscal target but because a) the Bank of England had withdrawn itself as the biggest purchaser of gilts when it started to become a net seller, as it moved from QE to QT - the day b4 minibudget -
