A short update on ClickWheel after a long ass time: I've decided to open source it, Apple has been giving me an hard time enrolling in the developer program and in all honesty I don't love the idea of splurging 100€ to launch a free app. Anyway, here's the repo, feel free to fork, contribute or simply enjoy the app as much as I did making it: https://github.com/TomasVSantos/ClickWheel-oss

There are still some things to do on ClickWheel before publishing 🤓
In today's ClickWheel update I bring you the finalized UI!
One step closer to the full release, I am aiming to get it out until the end of the month, I still have a couple of behind the scenes improvements to do, including a better queue system (gets quite slow on big Apple Music libraries like mine), better touch targets on the buttons (even though the bigger buttons make it much friendlier) and keeping track of what the user was listening before closing the app.

A smaller but fun update, didn't have much time today, but wanted to tackle something off the todo list.
Also added a small tutorial to the settings menu, in the future this will also be featured when first opening the app.

Last but not least is a library refresh, now displaying the artworks and additional information (artist or number of songs depending on where you are).
Also streamlined the library experience as a whole, making it more iPod accurate, now, when you select an Album, Artist or Playlist, instead of showing you the songs/albums inside said category it just starts playing it.
Now, when you choose anything to play it also takes you to the Now Playing view automatically.
Two ClickWheel improvements to close the day! 🕺
The first one is a big one, Shuffle!
The "Shuffle Songs" shuffles your entire library and plays it nonstop. I love it cause it has me listening to some stuff I hadn't heard in ages! (My Apple Music Library is HUGE)
