thattommyhallThere really needs to be a no-AI conference. Not an anti-AI one, just one where people turn up for a day or two somewhere and happen to not talk about it
I've seen a lot of people analyzing video recently to determine if it's AI or not, and I am BEGGING them to learn what compression artifacts are.
Also, I saw one person looking at an AI-upscaled frame of a video and pointing out hallucinated details as proof that the video was fake and I just can't. 😫

Sascha WillemsWith the increasing amount of data and requests, performance has become a real issue for my @vulkan #Vulkan Hardware database at https://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/.
So I just released a substantial update to it, that reworked some of the slower and often used queries like extension coverage listings (which now is mostly instant). With this change, performance should improve a lot and with that also site availability.
