#parkrun this morning was the very lovely Maldon Prom. I was disappointed with my performance but at least I could enjoy the view!

Back from marshalling in Christmas Day #parkrun - possibly the best time to be a parkrun volunteer! So many happy, smiley people! I hope my tinsel and elf hat (#knitted for the occasion) added some festive cheer to the participants!

Yesterday I made a trip to the very scenic Mersea Island #parkrun, made possible by Kat, Rob and driver Matt, to whom many thanks. Highly recommended. Particularly impressed by the adjoining playground. My parkruns seem to be getting harder and slower at the moment, but that’s a separate issue.
