Chestnut mining bee, I presume?

Yep the long lost bee has been rediscovered. This bee population was decimated with the Chestnut tree bight in 1900. But they back, baby! And a good thing too!

Fixed my 1984 Roland Cube 60. This amp‘s been through it. When I got it the reverb chip (a Single-In-Line IC) had vibrated so much the leads had hardened & broke. This time a wire wraped post failed, causing fade in & out when it heated up. Sounds fabulous w/ my resurrected ‘72 Matsumoku Epi #guitar

Article: “Antimatter emitters are readily available at supermarkets in the form of bananas, which emit antiparticles through the radioactive decay of potassium. Sadly, they have limited value for understanding the universe.”

I was able to restore this Sheaffer Admiral Touchdown fountain pen from c. 1950 (possible c. 1949...) to working order! It's a beautiful writer with a nice 14K nib.
