@junebug the fastest way to lose at pokémon might be that you only have one pokémon in your deck, forcing you to mulligan until it's in your starting hand, and then your opponent defeats that one and only pokémon turn 2

if you weren't allowed to lose by not having a pokémon to put in the active spot, you'd probably want to self mill through your deck with supporter cards
