Originally posted on DevTo For a while I have my own Kubernetes stack on DigitalOcean where I can do some science and host what I want or what others ask me like blogs, landing pages, cron-jobs and of course a Gitea instance. One day I decided to fire up a Drone.io instance so I can automate the boring tasks with it. It was like Drone 1.0 or something. Everything worked as I expected and I was happy.

Last year, Soundcloud almost went out of business until they got a 100m investment at the last minute.

Hopefully @[email protected] sees a huge uptick in usage.

Woo! šŸŽ‰ About 90% ready to start hosting mastodon, and the hometown fork of mastodon. A ton of work went into this, and I am so thankful for the many resources I had access to, including the amazing and knowledgeable @mastohost who answered all of my questions. I would recommend his hosting service any day, it is solid and reliable. I am also thankful for the creator/contributors to Mastodon, and its forks. Another thank you for those of you who supported this service so I could scale out to offer even more options. The fediverse is a wonderful place and I am looking forward to helping more people to join.

Great news everyone. Thanks to previously mentioned infrastructure upgrades #peertube v2 update is now rolling out to hosted instances.
