@seattleswiftie No, but I did see MilesInTransit take The Ocean, and then that turned into more videos on that route, but I got the same vibe because the Maritimes hit different.
@seattleswiftie True enough. I should say in planning it was my consolation prize but it turned out to be a better prize than I had expected. I still want to try VIA's Canadian too.
@seattleswiftie Chief was my plan for a friends trip out west that got argued over and tabled. The Builder was my consolation prize but the Chief is still a big goal for me.

@seattleswiftie Look up the channel 'youtuuba' on YouTube. Watching his videos was very helpful for me on what to expect on Amtrak and what route to take. For our honeymoon we took the Empire Builder and had a great time because of his videos and those of a few others but his were long form and just what I needed.

As far as an opinion, I'd say Chief.
