Picking 9 was really challenging, I guess I'll never be fully satisfied with any selection anyhow, but here we are.
My #my9games entry says a lot as it is. A tribute to time wasted (in the best possible way, of course) over many years.
Having guests for dinner tonight, I obliged and baked the french traditional seasonal cake "Galette des rois". An epiphany tradition, and children's favorite (there is usually a special token hidden inside, whoever finds it while eating their slice gets to wear a crown and be called king/queen, hence the name).
It is an almond powder-based filling with a hint of alcohol (Cointreau) sandwiched between puff pastries.
Spicy instant ramen is the best remedy against common cold, flu and even covid19. Instantly clears the nose and lets you breathe freely where nothing else works. Both broth and dry ramen styles work equally well btw.
I guess I'll die on that hill.
Several tech minds I follow are sharing this graph, highlighting how #StackOverflow declines in the AI age, which is obviously true. But curiously no one seems to care about why it plateaued in the decade before AI.
Unpopular opinion, I think AI or not, we're just looking at the end of a cycle here. The issue is much broader than just SO or just AI. AI just happened to be the last nail put into SO's coffin.
