@FreeCAD I made my own toothpaste tube squeezer.
I recently broke my custom filament sensor mount while changing the filament.
I took the opportunity to refine it further, making it more sturdy.
The model is designed for the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro 3D printer, and allows using both spools of filament. Yes, the original one did not. 🤷♂️

Die ARD sendet ein Sommerinterview mit AfD-Spitzenfrau Alice Weidel, das durch lautstarke Proteste torpediert wird. Der Protest richtet sich auch gegen die ARD selbst und ihre normalfreundliche Behandlung der rechtsextremen Partei. Doch die will das nicht wahrhaben. Ein Kommentar.
@FreeCAD I have completed my outdoor sensor enclosure.
I learned that creating a smooth surface from an FDM print is not easy. I sanded and coated with acrylic paint at least five times, and there is still some surface structure from the printing process left.
@FreeCAD I have finally printed the blade for my light saber in transparent PLA. I have started optimizing the hilt for printing as well. I have also started on the electronics for illumination but it will take some more free time to complete the project.
@FreeCAD, I made a tethered coin cell replacement.
I thought: "hey, why has nobody made one yet!?"
Turns out: the coin cell clamps are usually so unreliable, they often have trouble connecting with the genuine full-metal coin cells. So while it is possible to use such a replacement, it is not as reliable as I would have thought. In practice, it is much easier just to solder on the cables to the PCB.
