I just backed the Designed in California podcast Kickstarter, an initiative by @jsnell and @imyke. I’ve been using Apple computers since the 1980s, and I’m looking forward to this trip down memory lane!

I make extensive use of Estimated Durations in #OmniFocus. Defining how long some will take (or how much time you're willing to give it) is time well spent in my experience.

#Updatest is an excellent Mac app for tracking updates to Mac apps, and the app I chose to replace #MacUpdater (which is no longer in development). Updatest leverages Homebrew to track as many apps as possible and provides quick access to app details (e.g. developer, version).

I was a beta tester of Updatest and am impressed with the developer's attention to detail and openness to feedback.

Updatest was officially released today and is only $US9.99 until 2026-01-31: https://updatest.app
