I'm a fan of science fiction & science fact. I collect playing cards and pin badges. I have FSH #MuscularDystrophy (spoiler: it fucking sucks).

Vice chairperson and trustee for #FriendsOfTheDean (registered charity 1198515). #FoTD

He/him, but I’ll take anything polite.

Avatar: Futurama style representation of a head in a jar, with a small translucent green alien blob sitting on the forehead.

Remembering the time I was visited by a robin. He sat there chirping at me for about 15 seconds before fluttering off.
I went to see Murder on the Orient Express at Malvern Theatre. The play was fantastic, and they had a train courage photo booth in the lobby; I had to do it!
I went to Jane’s Pantry for lunch and the friendly waitress who always gives me special treatment gave me a double portion for my French toast. I think I should propose next time I see her.
Just took delivery of my latest book, Wipeout: Futurism, (with the limited cover) from Volume. https://vol.co/products/wipeout-futurism

As I was exiting the Brewhouse & Kitchen in Gloucester Quays, I saw a longboat turning round in the river. This gorgeous cocker spaniel was standing on top, and the man handling the rudder was happy for me to snap a photo:
Look at it, it’s so beautiful … no badge, not a single task needing to be done. *cries tears of joy*

My mum passed away in August and I wanted to tell people about some of the things she achieved in her 82 years:

• she raised three sons;

• she started the Peopleton Kindergarten (near Pershore, UK) back in the 70s and was invited back 40 years later to open their new playground;

• she learned Reflexology and Reiki when I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in ‘85 and the doctors said, “There’s nothing we can do.”

(continued …)

I always loved this plant in my old garden, back when I lived in Kidderminster. I think it’s a ceanothus, but, please, correct me if I’m wrong.
Huh. Haden’t noticed the battery percentage until now.

I paused Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse when someone knocked my door and got this. Every frame really is perfect.
