@Labonitamascota ich habe das meiste von ihm gesehen, und mag davon vieles. Stört dich das lakonische oder das artifizielle? Klappt für dich Jim Jarmusch (empfinde ich irgendwie als in vielerlei Hinsicht ähnlich)? Oder Fantastic Mr Fox? Im Stopmotion-Film fühlt sich der Anderson-Stil ganz anders an für mich.

Bei mir sind die großen artsy-fartsy Namen hinter der Kamera auch meist ein safe bet, aber Terrence Malick und Béla Tarr Filme klappen für mich nicht. Dabei mag ich manches slow Cinema.

Quantum of solace sucked imo, but the beginning was amazing 😍.

@audubonballroon So many untimely deaths in the (admittedly large) The Wire cast... Reddick's Lt. Daniels was a real pillar of the series. A great actor now already gone three years.

Jeunes mères war auch für mich eines der Highlights vom Kinojahr 2025.
Habe in den letzten Jahren einige aktuelle Filme in der Richtung gesehen, z.B. "All we imagine as light".
Insbesondere folgende zwei Regieführende sind aktiv und würde ich einreihen bei Loach, Dardennes und Co.:
Hirokazu Koreeda (insbesondere Shoplifters, Still Walking, Nobody Knows), Kelly Reichardt (insb. Wendy & Lucy, Certain Women)
