Last day in the #EdenValley so packed a fair bit in today. Hiked up to #HighCupNick in the morning and then walked around the Upper Eden valley in the afternoon. A sprinkling of snow and brilliant clear sunshine helped amplify the sublime views. #WildBoarFell and the #Blencathra range omnivisible.

A thoroughly entertaining performance from the excellent Field Music at Islington Assembly Halls last night.

Cracking walk in #PettsWood on the last day of BST. Happened across this memorial sundial dedicated to #WilliamWillet who made it happen exactly 100 years ago.
BTW, if you’ve recently lost a pair of glasses in the aforementioned wood, they are perched on a tree stump 25m south of the sundial!

Lovely walk around Grassington that took in the incredible Conistone Dib. It was slightly marred when our progress was halted by a party of grouse shooters blasting away. Hopefully all the grouse got away unharmed.
Red Kite and Buzzard circling overhead hoping to pick up any that the dogs missed.
