Too old to get a better job and too young to stop working. Wife, kids, cat , dog. The shitter is full.
I worked at a music store that used a #Kaypro 10. I knew nothing about it but they hired me for data entry. I asked about a pile of disks that was collection dist and they said they didn't care if I took them. So I acquired C/PM SBasic, CBasic, some word processors, spreadsheet software and more.
Computers went downhill after the #C128 #Commodore128
What's on my mind? The #Commodore128 that's what. One of the best computers ever made. I got mine in HS and took it with me to college. I used to write my papers, spreadsheets for Physics, #SkyTravel to track the moon for Astronomy class when there were clouds. For a computer science class we were programming in Pascal. I found that there was a version for the Commodore 128. I was able to do my work at home instead of on the VAX with little modification.

My older cat loves to jump on the banister that overlooks our first floor. We are scared he will fall to his death. Also we just adopted sibling kittens and worry they may end up with the same fate. Any suggestions, products that would prevent this in a practical fashion?
