Attempting to learn scala and was grumbling to myself about how val and var are in no way instructive as to which is which. Then I said value and variable out loud when explaining my complaint to someone else and suddenly it all became clear! Derp.
@CraigCottingham Sounds like it might be the opposite, too much pectin and it's set up too much. Might try heating a little in a saucepan, say 1 or 2 Tbsp, and adding a little water (you'll have to guess the amount, just note it down). Then let it cool and re-set. If that does the trick, scale it up to fix the rest of the jar. If not, try again with more water (or less if it sets up too runny. Good luck!
