Experimenting with Habits: What I’m Testing Now
I’m testing new habits and tools, from cold plunges to ease post-workout inflammation, to a post-work walk for a mental reset. These routines, plus task apps like Things 3 and ergonomic tools like Colemak keyboards, help me refine my day-to-day for better productivity and health.
The Iterative Life06/30 for my cold plunge today I realized that I had been putting my hands on my legs. I'm not sure how much a difference this makes but I noticed that I was avoiding cold exposure to my hands by warming them up on my legs. Fixed by focusing on keeping my hands against edge of tub.
I started reading "Get Better at Anything" by Scott Young. I learned that Tetris players bypassed thought to be unbreakable barriers in skill simply by having access to share their gameplay with others via the internet. We learn and master by observing.

The Iterative Life3/30 for cold plunges yesterday. I decided to not add any ice. I feel like that was a good choice. I stayed in for 2:30 and found no negative impacts on the benefits I felt. I also was able to replace a lot better as well.
