Corporate America is silent as Trump abandons free-market principles

Not long ago, American conservative orthodoxy held that when it comes to doing business, the government that governs least governs best.

I will die on this hill: play-by-play chatter between pitches in baseball is the best when they are just random talking about the crowd. (Currently listening to announcers debating whose Ditka mustache is real, and whose is glued on during the Cubs game.)

I love learning how people are using AI to streamline their work processses and operations. Drop a comment below and tell me how you are using AI. It only needs to be world changing for you 👏

I love learning how people are using AI to streamline their work processses and operations. Drop a comment below and tell me how you are using AI. It only needs to be world changing for you 👏 This is my latest little discovery. The recent Claude.ai integration with Notion project management and collaboration tool has been a godsend for our team as we work on editorial operations and planning for several forthcoming exhibit openings and the accompanying media promotions. In our marketing planning meeting, I was tasked with building our social outreach plan, which included drafting all our content for multiple outlets, developing a calendar of tie-in dates, and building a database of other external outlets. As we built the parameters for what we wanted to have completed, I wrote a prompt to build two databases (the tie-in dates for specific historical artifacts/events and the external outlets). Before the meeting finished, Claude had researched and built a first draft of those databases that I was able to fact check & correct in about 30 minutes after the meeting. Without Claude, those tasks would have taken me 4 or 5 hours. That freed me up to do what humans do best: build, write, design, and execute the promotional plan. While 4 or 5 hours might not seem like a huge savings, for our team that's a game changer for efficiency when we have three primary team members working on 25 different projects. Those saved hours make all the difference. #AI #project #Notion #FutureOfWork

Superman is the Avengers of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Lots of Joss Whedon out-of-the-blue knock abouts mid speech and a few Loki smashed by Hulk moments.

And full Gunn soundtrack and "lovable doof" moments.

Lex and Mr. Terrific are the actual stars.

Fence fight: CMU orders students' anti-Trump message painted over ahead of president's visit

Hours before President Donald Trump was scheduled to arrive at Carnegie Mellon University for an energy summit, the school administration early Tuesday ordered the painting over of a provocative anti-Trump message written by student Democrats on The Fence, a century-old campus landmark that serves as a free speech message board.

I'm annoyed because I paired my Garmin watch with a sleep app. I've been following its advice and have much more energy. It also very accurately lets me know when energy crashes are coming.

I spent the morning building a model in Claude to help distill H.B. 1 into bite-sized portions. Here is what the model built, complete with a source list for those who want to either build their own model or fact-check what I've done. https://thebradking.com/2025/07/04/h-r-1-one-big-beautiful-bill-act-complete-analysis/
