I recently made a custom theme for TBTech's Kirchhoff EQ. I noticed there really aren't many out there, and while I do quite like the basic default variations, I wanted to make some tweaks towards my own colourful preferences.

I succumbed to the GAS lords over the weekend and picked up one of these.. Definitely nice integration with Bitwig and feels lovely to use. Wanted a controller like this for ages!

A little patch where I was working on s&h.. I'd forgotten that the G1's s&h module won't hold control values by default, due to event scheduling issues apparently. So the work around is to use two s&h modules, with the samples signal passed through both in series with some mixed logic inversion and delay. I could probably simplify the patch in Bitwig but the Nord has its sound which I really love tbh..

It sounds simple, but I enjoy recording patches like this where the gates/events are sequenced in the patch but I can input the notes played on the fly with my MIDI keyboard. This has a 4 voice round-robin for interesting poly chords/progressions.

I guess like many, I've become fascinated with liminal spaces, abandoned public spaces and always had a taste for the surreal.
I took a trip out to Boronia after hearing about the mall there, being on the verge of abandonment.
It definitely felt surreal, being the only person wandering around inside there. Like time had stopped for 40 years in that place.

Love reading, learning about and collecting academic texts on computer music and sound arts. Have read through most of these, some numerous times. I'm currently about halfway through The Supercollider Book, which has been interesting but pretty challenging for me, given I haven't really had much experience writing code and programming.
Does anyone have any other worthwhile recommendations that I could add to my bookshelf?
