@ash Ahhh, thanks! I’ve been considering moving to a smaller instance, but haven’t found a good home yet.
I like the idea of running my own instance, but I don’t really want to put the effort in to do it. So I’ve just remained here on the default social.

@ashkyd I’ve heard good things about the Ubiquity Dream Machine. I haven’t dug into myself, but if I were looking tomorrow that’s where I would start.
I’ve also tried the Synology RT2600 after liking their disk stations. It worked well enough and was regularly patched, but it was basic overall. I was expecting it to be more extensible like the disk station.
I’m currently running pfSense on a HP thin client, but I’d like something… easier.
