So the problem with a kettle with a variable temperature setting is that sometimes you change it to 80 °C for a green #tea and then have several disappointing cups of black tea before you remember to switch it back to 100 °C...
@avertexofmyown Sounds similar. 😸 Although Oreos are probably worse for cats than pumpkin loaf. Esme would probably try to sneak a paw onto the plate to drag one off.
She doesn't always actually eat the things she steals but she'll usually lick them before batting them around so I have to be careful.

Common knowledge: #cats are obligate carnivores and don't eat bread.
My cat: proceeds to try to steal the pumpkin spice loaf slice from off my plate.
