I really hope someone is doing research on the re/construction of identities in a post social media stage ( and yes, I feel like mastodon is a little bit post SM).

I have a feeling that I’m not going to use this space to talk about ed tech. I’m following a blacksmith now and that’s pretty cool in my world right now.

I find mastodon confusing but I love that I find it confusing because I think that it is gently nudging me out of a comfort zone and that comfort zones can be unhealthy when they become routine and unchallenged. #onesentencestory

hi Mastodon, I'm back. I'm going to reintroduce myself with a #smallstory. The avatar pic is one my daughter drew when she was about 3 or 4. I used to keep a blog of her art and just looked at it again for the first time in years. I stopped maintaining it because I didn't have tumblr and WP was a bit too hard to upload pictures. etc but I regret it, because I love that I was able to capture the stories of her drawings and there were so many more. https://theasart.wordpress.com/page/1/

how do I see the stream for people that I follow? my home column is blank and says I'm not following anybody but I am. It's like I'm brand new every time I login into mastodon.

wow, mastodon really is different in such a good way. I wish I had more time to spend here.
