On 21 February, #starlink satellite STARLINK-1353 burnt up in the atmosphere. This was miraculously live-streamed by a telescope at the Kitasubaru Astronomical Observatory in Japan. I ran the images through meteor analysis software, and can confirm that this video matches the trajectory of this satellite. When it went through the field of view, it was at an altitude of about 70km, going about 5km/s. I count 15 distinct pieces of satellite.

The name Pluto was suggested by 11 year old Venetia Burney.

Ik heb de meteoor van gisteravond met WMPL doorgerekend. Beginhoogte 85km, opgebrand op 53km hoogte. Hij was vooral vrij traag: 10km/s.
Dat was een mooie meteoor, gisteravond 15 feb. 23:51:45 UTC.
Ook op de Duitse camera DE000B gezien, dus nee @cgbassa, dit keer geen helikopter. 🚁
