**do not** the donald trump
just no

nobody wanted to listen.

I’ve been asking AWS for this for years. Good on Google for implementing it.

Heat pumps and induction ranges are two strong examples of products that are better environmentally *and* better products than their gas/oil competitors, for almost everybody. (EVs will get there, but they’re not there yet.)

Because carbon emissions are free, it’s important that low-emission new products be clearly better than the polluting status quo. It’s a high bar, it’s not fair, but I’m glad we have heat pumps and induction ranges as a model.

😍
Oakland deserves another BART station

Midcentury transit systems often skipped over dense urban neighborhoods like San Antonio in Oakland. It’s time to fix that mistake.

The Urban Condition

The Valencia Street center bikeway continues to demonstrate why center bikeways are fundamentally flawed.

SFMTA should replace the center bikeway with curbside protected bike lanes with “curbside parklets” immediately, then never propose another center bikeway in San Francisco.

NIMBYs and public transport and housing (and they're the same about safe bike lanes)

Hey #BikeTooter!
Occasional reminder about bikeindex.org -

1. If you haven't registered your bikes there, you should! Having my bike registered helped it get recovered when it was stolen.

2. If you have bikes registered there, make sure to add some recent pictures just in case!

3. If you like what they do, consider making a donation! It runs on volunteer support and funding, so please chip in if you can!

I am not affiliated in any way, just a user and a fan.
