I didn't mean to. 😿 She keeps talking about hanging out outside of work and offers to pay for stuff, and I declined her paying for stuff and she took that as me not wanting to hang out and I just.. didn't... correct her... because I don't want to hang out.
But I also don't want to be rude!

As soon as the authorities figure out that a shooter is Islamic, they call it a potential act of #terrorism. If it's a redneck white guy it's a lone wolf attack.

#Trans folx in #Kansas given 1 day to surrender their (now invalid) IDs and driver's licenses to the state. As of tomorrow (Thursday), driving while trans is a class-B misdemeanor ($1000 fine and up to 6 months in jail).

The zero-grace-period execution means driving to turn in your license is a crime.

Oh yeah, this bill also enacted a bathroom bounty program allowing private individuals to sue trans folx for using the restroom.

Hubby and I (mostly hubby) have been doing some yard work, mainly clearing out thick overgrown vines from the fence row. Sawed a few smaller logs by hand to expand my garden bed. Compost is *almost* ready to spread out! Gotta get busy and order this year's seeds

Welp, I'm as prepped as I can be for this storm. Every device I could think of has been charged up, extra gas and groceries have been acquired, we have a little camping heater and extra propane, a mini camping stove and extra kindling for that, a power bank, and a hand crank radio.... Hoping the power holds out but I won't hold my breath. Just hoping what little prep I could afford is enough to keep my little family safe
