Norcal Gma 2Summer knew a fun time was right around the corner. As soon as I fill her fancy water bottle the wiggles begin. She runs outside to potty before she stations herself at the car door.
We talked all the way to the trail.
She was curious why she keeps hearing about bucket lists. I sighed because I've gotten into trouble with family. Because of an injury one family member is in a panic about unrealized progress on her list. I get it but have found it hard to sympathize adequately.
The thing is that I have had many opportunities in my life. Many of the best experiences wouldn't have been on a bucket list. I honestly feel like such a list is for people born to more privilege than I.
Just my opinion.
I suggested that this might work out all right in the end because nothing is really lost. She can look beyond the confines of her list and she will recover.
Hopefully she forgives my temerity but she asked and I answered.
Summer says she still loves me.
