for folks who drive to an office with an integrated garage:

did you have to sign a waiver for access to the garage?

The #RideOfSilence is coming up tomorrow!

We're aware storms are forecast for #BikeDC tomorrow, especially in the morning, and we're keeping an eye on things. _At this time_ we are planning to go forward as scheduled, but stay tuned for potential updates.

ride details: https://ggwash.org/calendar/event/99248/dc-ride-of-silence-2025

The #RideOfSilence is always on the third Wednesday of Bike Month, which this year is May 21, meaning it'll be a week *after* #BikeToWorkDay, at least in #BikeDC.

Get your #BTWD t-shirt, then join us at 14th & Pennsylvania Ave NW on Wed. May 21st at 7:00 PM as we honor those no longer with us this #BikeMonth. See details at https://www.rideofsilence.org/locations-domestic.php?s=DC#DC

Not in DC? Check for local listings at https://www.rideofsilence.org/locations-domestic.php — or organize your own!

@peter (Forgot to mention I mostly ride electric bikeshare bikes anymore—they’re fast, but they’re not _that_ fast, especially in DC traffic….)
@peter funny, I was just saying at https://bsky.app/profile/swiderski.bsky.social/post/3lomitxe5dc25 that my new(-ish) phone has claimed to record some absurd speeds the last couple days—I’d assumed it was just this cheap Samsung being garbage, but is there something in the proverbial water in GPS-land….?

Maryland is working on a new Strategic Plan for transportation trails across the state… https://mdot.maryland.gov/TransportationTrails

….and there’s a survey open now (through May 9!), whether you use trails already or not. https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/fef3e0616a5441e8b3cfbc8404671a75

@deb829 wild!

I admittedly don't buy whiskey often, but I could have sworn I'd bought it at a state store in PGH — though I don't currently see it listed in their search, either. https://www.finewineandgoodspirits.com/bourbon/152?N=2153393080&Ns=Endeca.stratify(collection()/record[sku.availabilityStatus=%22INSTOCK%22%20or%20product.storeAvailability],*)||B2CProduct.b2c_specialOrderProduct|0||product.displayName|0&Nrpp=12&No=24&
