@VintageProject Thank you for sharing that channel, my friend. An absolute gem!

And while you're reading:
Pay a visit to this guy in Ireland.
I feel like he's inspiring a lot of folk to actually repair stuff.

@VintageProject My friend, you wouldn't believe just how well I understand that. πŸ˜„
@VintageProject Glad to see you back! You had me a bit worried, mate.
@ann3nova I only use windows 11 if there's a 3. before the 11
@ckape It predates Sharp's first 4-bit Pocket Computer CMOS CPU by a year, so I would have guessed it uses a Z80 compatible (Probably Sharp's own LH-0080) like their MZ-80K model, or the 4-bit Fujitsu MB8843 they used in the MZ-40K computer kit. Interesting.
This one (https://typewriterdatabase.com/1954-groma-modell-n.17638.typewriter) is pretty close.
1950s Groma Modell N.

And this one (https://typewriterdatabase.com/1956-groma-modell-n.4487.typewriter) is an even closer fit.

Also found a serial in mine as 335852, which perfectly fits the two 1956 specimen.
1956 Groma Model N it is, then.

Awesome!

Sweet!

Fun fact: With the new keyboard, the TrackPoint is way less nippy and actually works great now. I didn't expect that!
Saturday morning shenanigans:
As I decided to reactivate my spare parts ThinkPad x250 and use it for playing with Linux, it deserves a new keyboard and BIOS battery.
Keyboard is in, but I'm still waiting for the battery.
With the x250, you really have to dig deep. Fortunately, ThinkPads are rather serviceable, so it's no big deal once you gave it a try once.
