HN Skins 0.4.0 is out.

This small update fixes the rendering of the commemorative black bar that Hacker News sometimes displays when a notable figure in technology or science passes away.

I realised the issue today after HN placed a black bar following the news of Tony Hoare's passing: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47324054

That prompted me to investigate the issue and implement the fix in this release.

Simplified my blogroll a bit. It is no longer a periodically updated list of posts. It is now just a static list of websites. It may sound like a step backward but it removes a few moving parts and simplifies the website setup.

My blogroll is perhaps the only page on my website where every link is purple for me. I visit them all.

There is also an OPML file at the end that provides a feed of all the websites in my blogroll.

HN Skins 0.3.0 is out.

This update fixes a few small issues from earlier releases, improves comment textbox font consistency and makes visited links easier to distinguish. Also renames two skins: Teletype → Courier and Nox → Midnight.

Bits and pieces of stuff I came across last month. Turns out that last month all of it was about algebraic graph theory.

HN Skins 0.2.0 is out.

This is a minor update a day after its initial release to fine tune a few style issues. It removes extra space below 'reply' links, sorts skins alphabetically and fixes the 'Terminal' theme's navigation bar colour.

A screenshot of the 'Terminal' theme is included in this post. To view more screenshots or install the tool, visit <https://github.com/susam/hnskins#readme>.
